🇨🇳 Shenyang

A major city in northeastern China, Shenyang counts a population of around 7 million. Like the rest of the country it observes a single national standard, the Asia/Shanghai zone at UTC+8, applied uniformly across China with no daylight saving adjustment. Local clocks therefore stay eight hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time year-round. Shenyang lies in the northeast at approximately 41.8°N, 123.4°E, well east of the Greenwich meridian. Although it is not a national capital, its size ranks it among the principal metropolitan centres of China's northeastern region.
