Ho Chi Minh City is the most populous city in Vietnam, home to around 14 million people in the country's south, roughly 11 degrees north of the equator. It keeps Indochina Time at UTC+7 and does not observe daylight saving, holding its clocks seven hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time year-round. Sitting well within the tropics of the Northern Hemisphere, the city sees only small seasonal changes in daylight.
