Nanjing is a major city on the lower Yangtze in eastern China, home to roughly 9.3 million people near 32 degrees north latitude. It observes China Standard Time, the country's single UTC+8 offset, and makes no daylight-saving change, keeping local time eight hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time in every season.
