Hong Kong is a densely populated territory on the southern coast of China, with about 7.4 million residents near 22 degrees north latitude. It keeps Hong Kong Time at UTC+8 and does not observe daylight saving, so its clocks stay eight hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time throughout the year.
