🇭🇰 New Territories

The New Territories form the largest of Hong Kong's three main regions, with a population of nearly 4 million. Hong Kong keeps the Asia/Hong_Kong time zone at UTC+8, a fixed offset maintained without daylight saving, so local clocks run eight hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time throughout the year. The region extends north from Kowloon toward the boundary with mainland China, near 22.4°N, 114.1°E. It contains much of the territory's land area and a substantial share of its residents.
