🇨🇳 Dalian

On the coast of northeastern China, Dalian is a major port city of nearly 5 million residents. Like all of China it keeps the Asia/Shanghai standard at UTC+8, observed nationwide with no daylight saving, so clocks remain eight hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time throughout the year. Dalian occupies the tip of the Liaodong Peninsula near 38.9°N, 121.6°E, giving it an important maritime position. Its size ranks it among the leading cities of the northeastern seaboard, though it holds no provincial-capital status.
